"In plus, mult anuntatul film "2012" nu face decat sa sporeasca isteria mondiala", comenteaza Chile Pixum.

Suntem incantati sa oferim in App Store o aplicatie utila atat inginerilor proiectanţi cat si comunitaţii artistilor creativi", a spus Robert "Buzz" Kross, senior vice president, Manufacturing Industry Group al Autodesk.

Atunci, in prezenta tuturor cadrelor medicale ale spitalului, copilul a intrebat : “Cine? papa?”. Baby starts talking minutes after being born - report A newborn baby has started talking in the Russian city of Norilsk, amazing his parents and the obstetricians, who nevertheless claim pre-natal education can work miracles. According to the Yoki.ru website, the baby boy pronounced his first word right after he was born, distinctly saying: “Papa!” In just a few minutes, newborn Stepan said: “Mama!” The next day, when the boy’s mother was telling him that his dad was about to visit them at the hospital, he asked: “Who? Papa?” The boy’s mother, Lisa Bazheyeva, is just 17 years old. The obstetrician who helped her in labor confirms the proud mother’s report. “I heard with my own ears that the newborn baby spoke!” said Doctor Marina Panova, adding she had never seen anything of the kind in the 23 years that she worked at the maternity clinic. “Newborns just can’t pronounce syllables as complicated as that,” she said. “The fetus can learn while still in the mother’s womb. If a mother talks to the fetus, entertains it as if it has been born already, the baby is usually born gifted,” Panova said.

the first true sequel to the classic 1988 nintendo system original, bionic commando sees the return

The first true sequel to the classic 1988 Nintendo Entertainment System original, Bionic Commando sees the return of the bionically-enhanced Nathan “Rad†Spencer, voiced by Mike Patton, the former lead singer of Faith No More. Time has not been kind to Spencer: 10 years after his heroic defeat of the Imperials in the original game, he has been betrayed by the government he swore to serve, imprisoned for crimes he didn’t commit, and sentenced to death. On the very day of Spencer’s execution, terrorists detonate a massive experimental weapon in Ascension City, unleashing an intense earthquake that has turned the city into rubble and wiped out its population. With the terrain in ruins and the city’s air defense grid now in the control of a massive terrorist force whose goal remains unclear, the FSA have only one option left - a behind-the-lines assault. The perfect job for a Bionic Commando. Bionic Commando transposes the swing-and-shoot gameplay of the 8-bit original to a stunning 3D environment of towering buildings, suspended roadways and monorails, deep canyons and sheer rock faces, where every environment is scalable using swinging, scaling, climbing and wall-walking techniques. Features: * Use the bionic arm to swing between towering skyscrapers at breathtaking speed, hook onto distant objects, zip up on hanging girders and choose your own route through the game * Gameplay that moves through horizontal and vertical environments — a 3D game that truly uses all three dimensions Full multiplayer mode with rich stat-tracking to check whether you’re a true commando or a lowly private * Use the power of the bionic arm — and of next-gen physics — to realistically throw massive objects, pummel opponents, whip enemies into the air, or pull the landscape apart * Arm yourself with a variety of weapons worthy of a Bionic Commando * Starring Mike Patton, the former lead singer of Faith No More, as the voice of Nathan Spencer Minimum System Requirements: OS: Windows XP/Vista Processor: Pentium 4 @ 2 GHz or Equivalent Memory: 1 GB Hard Drive: 650 MB Free Video Memory: 128 MB (nVidia GeForce 6600 GT) Sound Card: DirectX Compatible DirectX: 9.0c Keyboard & Mouse CD/DVD Rom Drive

The first European: Created from fragments of fossil, the face of our forbears 35,000 years ago The first modern European: Forensic artist Richard Neave reconstructed the face based on skull fragments from 35,000 years ago His recreation offers a tantalising glimpse into life before the dawn of civilisation. It also shows the close links between the first European settlers and their immediate African ancestors. To sculpt the head, Mr Neave called on his years of experience recreating the appearance of murder victims as well as using careful measurements of bone. It was made for the BBC2 series The Incredible Human Journey. This will follow the evolution of humans from the cradle of Africa to the waves of migrations that saw Homo sapiens colonise the globe. The head has taken pride of place on the desk of Alice Roberts, an anthropologist at Bristol University, who presents the programme. 'It's really quite bizarre,' she told Radio Times. 'I'm a scientist and objective but I look at that face and think "Gosh, I'm looking at the face of somebody from 40,000 years ago" and there's something weirdly moving about that. 'Richard creates skulls of much more recent humans and he's used to looking at differences between populations. 'He said the skull doesn't look European or Asian or African. It looks like a mixture of all of them. 'That's probably what you'd expect of someone among the earliest populations to come to Europe.' Anthropologist Alice Roberts with the model Anthropologist Alice Roberts with the model: 'I look at that face and think "I'm actually looking at the face of somebody from 40,000 years ago"', she says The head is based on remains of one of the earliest known anatomically modern Europeans. The lower jawbone was discovered by potholers in the Carpathian mountains in Romania in 2002. The rest of the fragments were found the following year. The bones were carbon-dated to between 34,000 and 36,000 years ago when Europe was occupied by two species of human. They were the Neanderthals, who had arrived from Africa tens of thousands of years earlier, and the more recent modern humans, also known as Cro-Magnons. Although the skull is similar to a modern human head, it has a larger cranium, is more robust and has larger molars. Although it is impossible to work out the skin colour of the prehistoric hunter, it is likely to have been darker than modern white Europeans. Fossil experts are also unsure if the skull was male or female. Many scientists believe that modern humans evolved in Africa 200,000 to 100,000 years ago. Our ancestors left Africa around 60,000 years ago and migrated around the world, replacing other branches of the family tree which had left the continent earlier. The earliest modern Europeans were far from primitive. Living in huts and caves, they used stone tools and spears made from antlers, painted on the walls of their caves and made jewellery from shells.

D-numbers: 14 septembrie Dezastru ecologic in Australia. Noul wi-fi a fost aprobat oficial. Aparatele se vor repara singure. Parintele Revolutiei Verzi s-a stins. Numeroase organizatii de protectie a mediului protesteaza in Australia in fata lipsei unei interventii ferme a autoritatilor, dezastrul periclitand viata salbatica din apele australiene.
