Hasbro Interactive has not only crafted a faithful representation of this ageless board game, but in so doing has included an array of extraordinary features that breathe new life into a time-honored favorite.
Sorry!, the classic board game from Parker Bros., comes to the home computer in this 3D CD-ROM from Hasbro Interactive. One to four players (computer controlled or human) can participate in classic Sorry! gameplay (play the cards you are given), strategic Sorry! (choose which card to use and hold the others), team play and a new variation containing five new result cards, Way Sorry!.
Yellow, blue, red and green game pieces "talk" during gameplay and as cards are selected move to their new space on the board with 3D animation effects. Whichever variation of Sorry! you choose, the basic rules remain the same: each player has four pieces with an objective of getting all four completely around the board to Home. If a game piece lands on the same square containing that of another player, the opponent's original piece is sent back to his or her starting block. The player who gets all his or her pieces Home first wins.
The game comes with various customizable features including an option to chat with other opponents, multiple views, animation toggles, 20 "jukebox" themes from which to choose for background music, sound effect and text toggles and adjustable "house rules."
Sorry! CD-ROM "The Game of Sweet Revenge" is part of the Hasbro Interactive Classic Value Series of games.
